Laura Green is a documentary director and editor who hails from the San Francisco Bay Area. She is fascinated by the opportunities documentary provides to learn about the diverse and often-invisible pockets of human experience that surround us. She has directed five short documentaries, Lady Razorbacks, Neve & Sons, DISASTER (a personal geography), Installation, and Everybody’s Business, which received a production grant from the Enersen foundation. They have played at numerous festivals, including Palm Springs Shortfest, Aspen Shortsfest, the Starz Denver International Film Festival, Outfest, and the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival. She is a recent graduate of the MFA program in Documentary Film and Video at Stanford University, where she was the recipient of a 2011-2012 Theodore & Frances Geballe Fellowship. She received her BA in Modern Culture and Media from Brown University in 2006.
